100 Years
100 Podcast Guests
Join Greg and Jen as they investigate the unprecedented urban transformation from the re-urbanization of developed nations to the rapid industrialization and urban growth in developing countries that define the period from 1980 to 2080. Over these 100 years, the global urban population is projected to quadruple, growing from 2.3 billion to 9.3 billion people, and the number of cities housing over 1 million residents will expand from 275 to 1,600. The speed of the urban acceleration creates a profound urgency that we cannot ignore.
The Century of Cities podcast features 100 interviews with the world's leading climate experts, urban historians, city planners, and tech innovators; learn how exponential technologies, intentional capital, and new models of leadership allow cities to grow in ways that optimize space, productivity, and global capital. As humanity navigates the opportunities and challenges of this urban century, city leaders will realize that creating Good Urbanization, which is planned, sustainable, and inclusive, should be a responsibility shared by all as we move towards a future world of 10 billion people in over 10,000 cities.
